Mr. Sherwood is the Principal and Founder of Kenai Capital Advisors, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction, acquisitions, capital relationships, and asset management platform. Since inception, Kenai Capital Advisors has acquired more than $100 million of commercial real estate assets. Mr. Sherwood has more than 18 years of experience in commercial real estate investments, asset management, and capital markets.
Prior to founding Kenai Capital Advisors, Mr. Sherwood established the middle-market investment sales platform for the Rocky Mountain region at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF). In that role, he advised high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private equity firms, and institutional investment advisors on industrial and office assets. During his tenure at HFF, he was involved in more than $1 billion of real estate sales, financings, and equity raises and served as Broker of Record for HFF across six states.
Before joining HFF, Mr. Sherwood opened the Denver office of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors, a New York–based real estate investment advisor. At Rockwood, he led an investment sales team covering retail, office, and industrial assets throughout the Mountain West and served as Broker of Record for the firm in more than 20 states. Earlier in his career, he was the Regional Director of Real Estate for the western United States at Trigild, then the nation’s largest receivership firm, where he helped grow assets under management from approximately 200,000 square feet to more than 20 million square feet in under three years.
Mr. Sherwood is a former Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University.

Garrett Neustrom

Mr. Neustrom is a Director with Kenai Capital Advisors on the Investment Sales team. He has more than 5 years of experience in real estate brokerage, development, and commercial construction. Garrett drives transactions through strategic planning, market expertise, and detailed financial analysis.
Prior to joining Kenai Capital Advisors, Garrett worked with the Industrial Services Group of Savills an international commercial real estate service provider specializing in Tenant Representation. While there, he focused on global transaction management, business development, and lease administration. Before his career in brokerage, Garrett worked in the commercial construction industry for GH Phipps a local general contractor and Turner Construction a global leader in the industry. He assisted in the management of over $20 million in municipal projects for the Cherry Creek School District, Jefferson County, and the University of Colorado Boulder.
Garrett received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University Colorado at Boulder and Master of Science in Real Estate and the Built Environment from the University of Denver. Garrett is involved with the American Real Estate Society, is an Eagle Scout and avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Law specializes in office investment sales across Colorado and the Mountain West. With a wealth of experience on the principal side, Canyon brings deep industry knowledge to help investors navigate today’s evolving and often complex office market. Over the course of his career, he has overseen more than $1.7 billion in transactions across various stages of the investment lifecycle.
A Colorado native, Canyon has more than seven years of experience in real estate acquisitions, finance, development, and asset management, working with institutional, family office, and private equity investors. He began his career at PGIM Real Estate in Los Angeles, where he underwrote and closed debt investments nationwide. He then joined Onni Group, playing a key role in sourcing, underwriting, and closing high-profile office and mixed-use acquisitions in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Chicago.
Canyon later spearheaded the U.S. expansion of Rize Properties, a Vancouver-based development firm, where he successfully sourced, capitalized, and executed two multifamily developments through to completion. Most recently, he served as an asset manager at Knightbridge Capital in Denver—one of the market’s most active office buyers—overseeing a portfolio of office and multifamily assets.
Canyon received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University with a minor in real estate.
